Senior Manager, Finance Transformation (Cloud and Marketplaces)

About the role

Elastic is looking for a senior finance transformation leader to design, scale, and automate financial systems that support its hyperscaler marketplace business. The role bridges Corporate Finance, Sales Operations, and Product Engineering, focusing on quote‑to‑cash and revenue recognition across AWS, GCP, and Azure marketplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with IT and Product Engineering to design scalable workflows linking hyperscaler portals with core finance systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Zuora.
• Automate finance workflows for complex marketplace transactions, including private offers and custom metering.
• Integrate hyperscaler APIs and marketplace platforms (e.g., Tackle.io) with core finance systems and build data pipelines for reliable ingestion of billing and disbursement data.
• Define financial process standards for deferred revenue, gross‑vs‑net revenue accounting, and ASC 606 compliance specific to cloud marketplace deductions.
• Build transaction‑level reconciliation models to match hyperscaler disbursements with internal sales contracts.
• Maintain transaction accuracy, track marketplace listing fees, and handle unstructured reseller data.
• Lead cross‑functional program management, prepare finance operations for new marketplace offerings, and author SOPs for finance teams.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in accounting operations, financial systems, or finance roles within the technology sector.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale finance transformation initiatives and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and marketplace business models.
