Senior IT Consultant – Tech Docs Owner

About the role

This senior‑level individual contributor will act as the lead technical expert for project teams, driving the strategy and execution of technical documentation across the organization. The role focuses on managing documentation‑as‑code practices, establishing standards, and operating the internal developer portal to ensure content is reusable, up‑to‑date, and AI‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve technical documentation (Markdown) and style guides for platform capabilities.
• Serve as the librarian for development documentation, organizing content within the Internal Developer Portal.
• Partner with platform engineering teams to create scalable, reusable content from planning through delivery.
• Analyze data and customer feedback to continuously improve documentation relevance and effectiveness.
• Ensure documentation can be leveraged by AI tools and other automation solutions.
• Lead business‑specific projects, applying deep subject‑matter expertise and coordinating cross‑functional resources.
• Develop and document business cases, assessing cost, benefit, ROI, and total cost of ownership for complex solutions.
