Senior Issue Management Analyst

About the role

The Senior Issue Management Analyst will coordinate and manage issue remediation across Citi’s business units, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will work closely with stakeholders to investigate control gaps, develop corrective action plans, and drive sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive issue management with key stakeholders and maintain a robust issue inventory.
• Conduct quality reviews of issues to ensure adherence to Issue Management Policy, Standards and Procedures.
• Facilitate business and function quality control throughout the lifecycle of high‑impact issue remediations.
• Analyze remediation trends, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements.
• Develop and support corrective action plans, incorporating lessons‑learned to promote continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal audit, business units, and senior management to drive issue resolution and risk awareness.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, escalating risks as needed.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit or related control functions within the financial services industry.
• Proven ability to identify, measure and manage key risks and controls.
• Strong knowledge of developing and executing remediation and control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to influence decision‑making.
