Senior Infrastructure Engineer (IaC & Kubernetes)

About the role

TD SYNNEX is looking for a senior‑level infrastructure engineer to lead the design, build, and operation of modern enterprise platforms. This hands‑on leadership position focuses on platform architecture, large‑scale automation, and establishing engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own infrastructure platforms on VMware and/or Nutanix, supporting both Windows and Linux environments.
• Architect and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Define, enforce, and evolve engineering standards such as reusable modules and code‑review processes.
• Lead automation initiatives to replace manual tasks and improve scalability.
• Manage the full platform lifecycle: design, deployment, scaling, and optimization.
• Design, deploy, and support Kubernetes or other container platforms.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and improve disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion technical quality across the team.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of hands‑on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven experience operating production platforms at scale.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ownership of end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions.
• Experience designing architecture, not just implementing it.
• Track record of creating reusable IaC frameworks and leading engineering standards.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and long‑term improvements.
