Senior Fullstack Engineer

About the role

FootID is building the identity infrastructure for feet, creating a clinical and consumer record called the FootID profile. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will extend the existing FootID Pro and Phoenix platforms and help build the new MyFootID consumer portal, working across Vue/Quasar front‑end and PHP/Laravel back‑end technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end features for FootID Pro, Phoenix and the upcoming MyFootID platform.
• Design architecture and system components in partnership with product leadership.
• Define and maintain the profile data model and permission system that lets patients own and share their FootID.
• Implement channel integrations that enable multiple storefronts to read and fulfill orders from a single profile.
• Build engineering foundations such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, zero‑downtime deployments and observability.
• Ensure all work follows HIPAA‑aligned practices for handling PHI.
• Define and own the AI stack, taking AI prototypes to production, monitoring performance, cost and reliability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior or lead roles.
• Hands‑on production experience with Vue.js (v2 or v3) and the Quasar framework.
• Strong background in PHP and Laravel (Eloquent, queues, migrations, REST APIs).
• Production experience on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Deep knowledge of MySQL schema design and query optimisation.
• Experience designing multi‑tenant or multi-channel data architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to build HIPAA‑compliant systems handling PHI.
• Familiarity with modern AI development tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
