Senior Engineer – WLAN

About the role

This senior position focuses on the design, development, analysis, troubleshooting and debugging of systems, software and integrated solutions for Aruba Networks' Wireless LAN portfolio. You will apply advanced expertise in enterprise wireless networking to improve product quality, reliability and the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to complex engineering activities across the product lifecycle, including design, development, integration, validation and advanced troubleshooting of Aruba WLAN products.
• Provide deep technical expertise in enterprise wireless technologies such as Wi‑Fi 6, Wi‑Fi 6E, Wi‑Fi 7, RF design, security and large‑scale WLAN architectures.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external development partners to deliver high‑quality, standards‑compliant solutions.
• Review and evaluate designs, configurations and engineering activities for compliance with HPE and Aruba standards, offering actionable feedback.
• Serve as a technical resource for cross‑organizational programs, initiatives and customer‑impacting escalations.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging wireless technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment on technical approaches.
• Experience providing technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced engineers.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional and cross‑organizational teams.
