Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Costa Rica, working in a hybrid mode. The role covers automating operations, building CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes environments and improving observability and security across DevOps platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate operational tasks, process REST API data and improve efficiency using AI-assisted tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains, including GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins and Artifactory.
• Troubleshoot production issues, manage Kubernetes environments, enhance monitoring and observability and implement security best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of recent Linux/Unix administration experience, preferably with Red Hat.
• 3+ years of hands-on scripting and automation with Python and Bash.
• Experience administering source code management tools such as GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket or GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Experience with artifact management tools such as Artifactory, Nexus or Git LFS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, TLS/certificates, OSI layers) and troubleshooting skills.
