Senior Data (Databricks) Engineer

About the role

Intetics is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and operate Databricks pipelines for a predictive data platform that powers revenue intelligence for mid‑market enterprises. You will ensure data reliability, cost efficiency, and platform scalability while supporting global customer onboarding and legacy modernization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Databricks production support, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response for all data flows.
• Maintain SLA metrics, optimize pipelines for cost and performance, and migrate legacy ETL/ELT to Databricks.
• Design high‑performance pipelines ingesting ERP and CRM data across Azure and AWS, and manage Delta Lake architecture.
• Enforce data security, multi‑tenant isolation, and data quality monitoring throughout the platform.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, product teams, and enterprise architecture, and participate in on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of data engineering experience with at least 2 years on Databricks or Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python, and solid PostgreSQL knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with Delta Lake, pipeline performance tuning, and legacy ETL tools.
• Experience supporting multi‑tenant architectures and strong data governance, security, and compliance understanding.
