Senior Data Analyst - Marketing Science

About the role

VML, part of WPP, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join its expanding marketing science team within Wunderman Thompson Data Products. As part of the Analytics and Marketing Science group, you will develop end-to-end data solutions for clients, from tagging strategies for web performance to deep-dive analyses using diverse data sources. You will take part in client meetings, review report health checks and give recommendations to improve campaign performance and web page effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Turn client requirements into visual prototypes and data mockups aligned with business objectives
• Integrate data sources and build data solutions using Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI and Excel
• Develop measurement strategies aligned with client KPIs or define new ones
• Create and manage performance tracking systems, using tools such as Google Tag Manager
• Monitor data accuracy and flag discrepancies or trend changes to vendors or clients
• Collaborate with internal and regional teams and share best practices
• Meet clients regularly to present insights, explain results and recommend improvements

Required profile

• Inquisitive, ambitious and passionate about data and analytics, with a commitment to continuous learning
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, with teams in the office on average four days a week
• Advanced English level

Required skills

• Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch
• Data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar
• Ability to manage large datasets and understand ETL processes
• Statistical analysis, A/B testing, regression analysis and predictive modeling
• Advanced Excel skills
