Road Services Specialist – Track and Trace

About the role

As a Road Services Specialist you will manage the end‑to‑end booking process for road freight, ensuring shipments are booked accurately, on time and in line with service level agreements. You will work within Kuehne+Nagel’s Global Services team, supporting customers across a range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, toys and machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Create and amend digital and manual transport orders for road freight shipments.
• Provide timely information and feedback to internal teams on all bookings.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements and operational standards.
• Support onboarding of new clients and integration of new countries into the Road Logistics department.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in the Transport Management System.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators related to booking efficiency and capacity utilisation.

Required profile

• High school diploma (additional logistics or freight forwarding education preferred).
• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics (preferred).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving ability.
• Sense of urgency, ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with continuous‑improvement practices (preferred).

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Transport Management System (TMS) usage.
