Remote Forward Deployed Engineer - AI Security & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Python engineer with deep cybersecurity compliance expertise to lead end‑to‑end implementations of our SOC for AI platform in enterprise environments. This part‑time, fully remote role works directly with CISOs, GRC teams and data scientists to deploy, monitor, audit and enforce security and compliance of AI agents and deterministic Python workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Own SOC for AI platform implementations from kickoff to go‑live, managing timelines, deliverables and milestones.
• Identify, log and mitigate project risks while ensuring deployments meet strict cybersecurity, quality and performance standards.
• Act as primary liaison between client stakeholders (CISOs, GRC, Data Scientists) and internal Product & Engineering teams.
• Deploy and configure the platform, mapping agent behaviours and audit trails to regulatory controls and security policies.
• Integrate client data systems and APIs via Model Context Protocol (MCP) with data privacy and RBAC controls.
• Design, build and deploy custom deterministic Python workflows that run alongside AI models for secure, auditable outcomes.
• Define and track success metrics such as compliance control coverage and automated audit reporting.

Required profile

• Advanced Python proficiency for robust backend workflows and secure API integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, function calling and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI).
• Familiarity with major compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800‑53, ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, CMMC, PCI‑DSS).
• Experience leading large enterprise software or security deployments, including project planning and risk mitigation.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills and ability to present business value to non‑technical leaders.
• Self‑motivated, able to maintain tight project governance in a flexible, part‑time remote setup.
