Regional FSQS Manager (Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil)

About the role

Griffith Foods is seeking a Regional FSQS Manager to lead food safety and quality systems across its CASA business in Costa Rica, Colombia and Brazil. The role ensures compliance, standardisation and continuous improvement of food safety practices across manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain food safety and quality systems programmes for the CASA business.
• Standardise quality systems and food‑safety personnel programmes across all manufacturing facilities.
• Represent the business on the Global Food Safety Council and align FSQS expectations with supply‑chain leadership.
• Track site performance (raw‑material violations, complaints, audits) and drive improvement through weekly score‑cards.
• Provide guidance to achieve compliance with the BRC Food Safety and Quality framework.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, operations and product development on audits, complaints and new‑product processes.
• Develop training materials for food safety, GMP and allergen control.
• Ensure new equipment and new sites meet sanitary design and production compliance.
• Stay current on food‑safety trends by reviewing industry publications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of food‑industry experience in food safety and quality, with at least 5 years in progressive management.
• Experience with ERP systems supporting traceability and product management.
• Strong written and oral communication, including technical writing.
• Proven people‑development and team‑building abilities.
• Analytical skills to evaluate data and make sound business judgments.
