Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Coordinator ensures that food safety and quality standards are consistently met within the manufacturing operation. This role manages quality and safety management systems, conducts audits, monitors performance indicators, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and ensure compliance with the food safety and quality management system requirements.
• Interpret and apply FSSC 22000 guidelines throughout the operation.
• Coordinate and follow up on internal and external audits.
• Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance indicators.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions arising from identified deviations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation related to quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food industry regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and safety.
• Utilize management tools and information systems to track processes and records.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Chemistry, Quality Engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Agro‑industry.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the food industry, specifically in quality and food safety assurance.
• Proven experience with FSSC 22000 and related quality and safety management systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to food manufacturing.

Required skills

• FSSC 22000 knowledge and application.
• ERP systems usage, preferably SAP.
• Quality management system documentation and audit handling.
