Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Coloplast’s Business Centre in San José, Costa Rica supports North American operations. The Quality Control Specialist ensures quality control and accurate order fulfillment of the company’s product offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control of orders and upload documents to electronic records.
• Receive, process, and maintain order records, files, and documentation.
• Transfer accounts from the lead database to Brightree and process proofs of delivery using carrier tracking numbers.
• Generate daily operations reports and send order totals to management in compliance with HIPAA/PHI guidelines.
• Keep equipment operational, report malfunctions, and suggest process improvements.
• Communicate with teammates and other departments to ensure timely, high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• High school diploma (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in DME or medical device field.
• Strong clerical skills with proficiency in data entry and computer programs.
• Excellent organizational ability, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently.
• Knowledge of DME, Medicare policies, and relevant federal/state regulations.

Required skills

• Experience using Brightree software.
• Proficiency in data entry and general computer applications.
• Understanding of HIPAA/PHI compliance requirements.
