Python Open Source Contributor - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Python Open Source Contributor to work remotely on production‑quality code, reviews, and documentation for open‑source repositories that support our customer’s projects. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing complex algorithms across multiple programming languages.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute production‑ready code, perform code reviews, and write documentation for relevant open‑source projects.
• Design, implement, and optimize algorithms and system components using languages such as C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in existing codebases.
• Collaborate with other contributors and stakeholders to align deliverables with project goals and best practices.
• Create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Participate in code discussions and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience working on large‑scale, distributed codebases.
• Familiarity with modern AI or machine learning systems is a plus, though not required.
• Background in rigorous code reviews and contributing to software best practices.
