Production Line Operator – Stacker & Forklift Operator

About the role

Prysmian is looking for a Production Line Operator to join its team in Belén, Heredia. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate forklifts and stackers across one or more phases of the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality and compliance with established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Unload, arrange, verify quantity and perform visual inspection of products, ensuring proper delivery to end users.
• Conduct forklift pre‑shift checklists to guarantee optimal operating condition.
• Refuel forklifts safely, following all gas‑handling safety measures.
• Confirm that products sent to the warehouse are undamaged, correctly labeled, and in the right quantity.
• Monitor production activities, anticipate issues, and report equipment or process anomalies to the immediate supervisor.
• Follow occupational safety and health instructions, using required personal protective equipment.
• Support the maintenance of quality and environmental management systems.

Required profile

• Completed primary education; ninth grade is a plus.
• Valid D32 forklift license.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using forklifts and stackers.
• Availability for rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night).
• Basic computer knowledge.
