Production Line Operator – Forklift & Stacker

About the role

The Production Line Operator will work on the manufacturing floor in Belén, Heredia, operating forklifts and stackers to move, verify, and prepare products for shipment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role ensures material flow, equipment condition, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Unload, arrange, and visually inspect products, confirming quantity and condition before delivery.
• Perform a pre‑shift checklist to verify forklift operational status.
• Refuel forklifts safely, following all gas‑handling procedures.
• Ensure shipped items are undamaged, correctly labeled, and match order specifications.
• Monitor production activities, identify anomalies, and report issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Follow occupational safety and health instructions, using required personal protective equipment.
• Support the maintenance of quality and environmental management systems.

Required profile

• Completed primary education; ninth grade is a plus.
• Valid D32 forklift license.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years operating forklifts and stackers.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night).
• Basic computer knowledge.
