Product Owner - Product Data (PIM)

About the role

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM) is looking for a Product Owner for its Product Information Management (PIM) system. The role defines, prioritizes and delivers product features and enhancements, working with IT, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain so the PIM system meets business needs and supports strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for the PIM system with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders.
• Build, refine and prioritize the product backlog, keeping it aligned to business needs.
• Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and turn them into actionable features.
• Work with development teams on requirements and delivery, lead stakeholder reviews and other agile ceremonies.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria, plan releases and set delivery expectations.
• Define key performance metrics, monitor performance and manage QA processes to ensure data quality.
• Provide training and support to users of the PIM system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role focused on product information management or related systems.
• Strong understanding of PIM systems, data governance and information management principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• English at B2 or higher (advanced).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) preferred.
• Experience with PIM software (e.g., Informatica) and RESTful APIs is a plus.
