Process Ramp Up Technician

About the role

The Process Ramp Up Technician supports the ramp‑up phase of new production equipment, ensuring smooth start‑up, documentation, and knowledge transfer to operational teams. The role works closely with engineering, production, and training departments to achieve stable, high‑quality manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Execute start‑up and ramp‑up of new machines, adjust parameters, troubleshoot, and stabilize processes.
• Collaborate with engineering during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to verify performance against standards.
• Lead organization of ramp‑up tasks, align with project schedules, and produce key documentation such as process flowcharts, maintenance recommendations, SOPs, training records, and troubleshooting guides.
• Use the Veeva platform to manage non‑conformities, change controls, and related quality processes.
• Train technical and operational teams on equipment operation, maintenance, and problem‑solving.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and automation issues during ramp‑up.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with technical teams, document lessons learned, and propose continuous‑improvement actions.
• Coordinate spare parts and service requests to ensure equipment readiness.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in manufacturing equipment start‑up and ramp‑up.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, production, and training groups.
• Strong analytical mindset for troubleshooting and RCA activities.
• Effective communication skills for documentation and training delivery.
