Process Engineer

About the role

Coca-Cola is seeking a Process Engineer for its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. You will develop scientific methods to optimize production processes, test new processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Elaborate and execute action plans for process improvements and monitor implementation.
• Consolidate daily/weekly production parameters (OEE, Cpk) and share results with the production team.
• Map improvement opportunities and forward demands to automation and production teams.
• Participate in new equipment acquisition, installation, and performance analysis.
• Measure cycle times, update SAP for capacity calculations, and analyze line performance.
• Maintain MES data collection, perform data analysis, and develop preventive/corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Production, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Food).
• 3‑5 years of experience in process engineering, project management, and KPI monitoring.
• Fully bilingual Spanish‑English with technical manufacturing vocabulary.
• Willingness to live in Liberia, Guanacaste (non‑negotiable).
