About the role

The Production and Inventory Planner ensures finished‑goods availability by translating demand into production requirements, monitoring stock levels and coordinating with commercial, logistics and manufacturing teams to meet service targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short, medium and long‑term production plans aligned with demand, inventory policies and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor finished‑goods inventories and coverage, identify risks of stockouts, excess or obsolescence, and manage safety stock parameters.
• Act as the liaison between planning and manufacturing plants to guarantee correct execution of production schedules, handling changes and operational deviations.
• Continuously evaluate capacity constraints, material availability and demand shifts, proposing mitigation actions to protect service levels.
• Produce analyses, reports and KPIs on inventory, capacity, production, availability and risks to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Logistics, Manufacturing and Planning departments to align priorities and achieve service objectives.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes, indicators and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management or Supply Chain.
• Experience working with manufacturing plants and managing finished‑goods availability.
• Proven ability to analyse data and make decisions based on information.
• Experience interacting with commercial and operational areas.
