Molding Process Technician – Shift B

About the role

Join Philips as a Molding Process Technician on Shift B, where you will operate and maintain thermoplastic and LSR injection molding equipment to produce high‑quality medical components. You will work on a full‑time onsite schedule, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Start‑up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain clean molds and ensure production meets quality specifications.
• Identify root causes of defects, resolve issues efficiently, and complete work orders.
• Support product and process improvement initiatives alongside Manufacturing Engineers and Managers.
• Train and mentor fellow Molding Process Technicians.

Required profile

• High school education (minimum 9th grade); Plastic Process Technician certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience as a Molding Technician, preferably in a medical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safety practices and ability to self‑train.
• Basic English proficiency and computer literacy.

Required skills

• Thermoplastic injection molding operation.
• LSR (liquid silicone rubber) injection molding operation.
• Lean tools and techniques for process improvement.
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft Excel.
