Molding Manufacturing Engineer 2

About the role

The Molding Manufacturing Engineer 2 will develop and improve manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to ensure predictable, reliable, and efficient production. The role supports new supplier flows, validates processes, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams while working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor first‑pass yields and perform process validations and qualifications.
• Support new supplier process flows for material and equipment needs.
• Assist in project execution, conduct basic cost analysis, and adhere to budgets.
• Participate in FMEA, root‑cause analysis, CAPA, CIP programs, and manage NCRs.
• Ensure safety considerations in material usage and process compliance with company standards.
• Build relationships with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and cross‑functional teams.
• Provide guidance and training to production operators during implementation.
• Work on limited‑scope problems using standard practices and support senior engineers as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, science, or engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to lead cost‑reduction initiatives and apply lean manufacturing principles.
• Capability to obtain/install equipment and execute processes with quality and safety compliance.
