About the role
Gensler is seeking a Mid-Level Architect to join its design team. You will be involved in all phases of the design process, balancing innovative thinking with practical technical solutions. The role requires strong personal responsibility, open communication, and teamwork.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the design and delivery of architectural and technical aspects of projects.
- Coordinate project teams to produce finished plans, specifications, and material selections for construction.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of technical documents and architectural drawings.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives.
- Support communication between project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and permitting officials.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities related to project execution.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Architecture or foreign equivalent.
- Licensed or registered architect.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an architectural practice.
- 100% bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
- Additional experience with AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Illustrator, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Autodesk certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, construction methods, and structural systems.
- Strong leadership, relationship‑management, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
- Demonstrated fiscal accountability and experience managing construction documentation or design detail development.
