Microsoft Support Engineer (On-prem L3/L4)

About the role

World Wide Technology is seeking a Microsoft Support Engineer to provide advanced on‑premises support (L3/L4) for enterprise customers. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft server and application stacks within a dynamic, client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support for Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SQL failover clustering, SharePoint, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server and desktop operating systems, including patch management via Configuration Manager.
• Manage Hyper‑V clustering, virtualization platforms, and backup solutions such as Veeam and Commvault.
• Maintain knowledge articles, resolve support tickets, and contribute to problem‑management processes.
• Stay current with Microsoft server tools, Azure services, and emerging platform features.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting internal or external clients via phone, email, or deskside.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across Windows environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a global engineering team.
