Manufacturing Supervisor I

About the role

Make a meaningful difference to patients around the world by supervising manufacturing activities at Edwards Lifesciences. You will lead a team that assembles, sews, and distributes medical devices, ensuring quality and productivity while adhering to strict procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees and manufacturing processes in one or more production areas, ensuring compliance with specifications and procedures.
• Schedule work orders, monitor team performance metrics, and provide regular progress reports to management.
• Ensure staff are properly trained, maintain productivity and quality targets, and conduct daily audits of manufacturing procedures.
• Partner with engineering on investigations, corrective actions, and non‑conformance reviews, and participate in improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as industrial, chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering or business administration.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical‑device industry.
• Intermediate level of English and availability to work Shift A (6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) in La Lima.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and concepts.
