Maintenance Technician 2 – Shift A1

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician 2 to join our manufacturing site on Shift A1. In this role you will perform corrective, breakdown and preventive maintenance on a range of equipment, ensuring optimal production performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out first‑line (curative) repairs on assigned machines, addressing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical or PLC issues.
• Apply preventive maintenance tasks and support product and process renewal initiatives.
• Coordinate contractor activities and provide day‑to‑day support to the Manufacturing Engineer or Manager.
• Document and improve maintenance procedures, and ensure adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety practices.
• Troubleshoot technical problems to determine root causes and contribute to failure analysis.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical studies in maintenance, electromechanics, electronics or related fields are desirable.
• Minimum two years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a medical‑device environment.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency and solid computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of GDPs, FDA regulations, QSR, ISO 13485 and Japan regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical and PLC troubleshooting.
• Electronics and electromechanical repair.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understanding of regulatory standards such as FDA, ISO 13485, QSR and GDP.
