Loan Processor & Underwriter – Private Real Estate Lending

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Loan Processor & Underwriter to own underwriting, loan file completeness and follow‑up on every file until closing. You will analyze borrower, property and deal risk, collect and verify documentation, manage appraisals, and keep stakeholders informed.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite business‑purpose Fix & Flip, Bridge, DSCR and Ground‑Up Construction loans, analyzing credit, liquidity, LTV/LTC, ARV, DSCR and exit strategy.
• Collect, verify and organize borrower, guarantor, entity and property documents; maintain accurate conditions and loan files in the loan portal and CRM.
• Order, track and review appraisals, work with appraisal management companies on corrections, and promptly advise originators of material changes.
• Proactively follow up with borrowers, brokers, originators and vendors to resolve outstanding documents and conditions.
• Coordinate with the closer on underwriting‑related items through funding and correct any post‑closing deficiencies.

Required profile

• At least 1.5 years hands‑on experience at a U.S. hard‑money or private real‑estate lender handling business‑purpose investment property loans.
• Advanced written and spoken English with high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work 8:45 AM‑5:45 PM U.S. Eastern Time and reside in Latin America.
• Hardworking, dependable, proactive and accountable, comfortable in a fast‑paced lending environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Gmail.
• Experience using GoHighLevel (GHL) or a similar CRM.
• Ability to navigate an online loan portal for document management and workflow.
