Lending Operations Manager

About the role

Acuity Analytics is looking for a results‑driven Lending Operations Manager to lead a team that supports syndicated and direct loan servicing activities. The role oversees daily operations, ensures service excellence, manages operational risk, and builds strong client relationships in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Loan Operations Analysts and Associates, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Oversee servicing activities for syndicated and direct loan portfolios, ensuring accurate processing of drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, prepayments, fee processing, deal amendments, loan trading, and buy‑sell assignments.
• Supervise Letter of Credit servicing, including fee updates, bookings and reconciliations.
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators, cash reconciliations, aged items and operational exceptions, ensuring compliance with turnaround times, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as primary escalation point for client inquiries, maintaining strong relationships with lenders, borrowers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage mailbox, approve invoices, notices and client communications, and analyse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Support strategic projects, process enhancements, system implementations and operational transformations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in loan operations, preferably with syndicated and direct lending transactions.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent risk‑management and control‑orientation, able to monitor and mitigate operational risks.
• Effective client‑facing abilities, capable of handling complex inquiries and building lasting relationships.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
