Lead Architect

About the role

Temenos is seeking a Lead Architect to define and govern the integration architecture that connects its core banking platform, Temenos Transact, with digital channels, fintech partners and third‑party systems. The role focuses on building a scalable, secure and resilient ecosystem that supports the bank’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design integration architecture using APIs, micro‑services and event‑driven patterns.
• Select and govern integration patterns such as API gateways, event buses, orchestration services and ESBs.
• Define high‑availability, resilience, scalability and observability strategies.
• Create hybrid or cloud‑native architecture blueprints aligned with the bank’s strategy.
• Establish API governance standards covering versioning, security, throttling and monitoring.
• Provide guidelines for development, testing and environment management.
• Oversee integrations with third‑party vendors, fintechs and digital channels.
• Ensure alignment with Temenos Transact best practices and prevent unnecessary core customisation.
• Lead technical teams, review designs and drive knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate API enablement and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in designing enterprise‑scale integration solutions for banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams.
• Experience with cloud‑native and hybrid deployment models.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
