Junior Jira Administrator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Jira Administrator to join our team on a full‑time contract basis. The role is fully remote and supports users across Costa Rica, handling day‑to‑day Jira platform activities and basic configuration tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Create and configure basic Jira projects.
• Add and manage users, groups, and project roles.
• Manage simple project permissions and user access.
• Configure and maintain straightforward workflows, screens, fields, custom fields, and issue types.
• Troubleshoot common Jira access and configuration issues.
• Provide day‑to‑day Jira support to business and technical users.
• Assist with basic Jira automation rules.
• Support simple API, scripting, or administrative tasks when needed.
• Maintain accurate and consistent Jira project configurations.

Required profile

• Basic hands‑on experience with Jira administration.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem.
• Understanding of Jira project setup, permissions, workflows, screens, fields, and issue types.
• Ability to troubleshoot common Jira administration issues.
• Strong communication and customer‑support skills.
• Comfortable supporting both business and technical users.
