Junior Internal Auditor

About the role

MNK Seguros is looking for a motivated Junior Internal Auditor to join its internal audit team. You will support the planning and execution of low to medium complexity audits, applying risk‑based procedures and documenting findings to help improve controls and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and execution of internal audits to assess control effectiveness and risk management.
• Analyze processes, identify risks, controls and improvement opportunities.
• Perform audit testing and review financial, operational and regulatory information to detect inconsistencies.
• Prepare audit workpapers, risk matrices, and audit reports.
• Present findings, conclusions and recommendations to audited areas and follow up on action plans.
• Assist in regulatory compliance reviews and specialized insurance‑sector audits.
• Utilize data‑analysis tools to enhance audit procedures.
• Provide technical support to the audit team and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in internal or external audit, risk management, internal control or compliance.
• Preferable experience in the insurance or financial sector.
• Knowledge of risk‑based audit methodologies and internal audit standards.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
