Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and curious Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The role is a key member of the Group Accounting team, responsible for financial operations across all BlueCat subsidiaries. You will own end‑to‑end accounting processes and drive improvements using modern tools, including AI.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for month‑end close, including fixed assets, inventory, prepaid expenses and accruals.
• Own and improve accounting processes, including GL clean‑up and automation.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate GL discrepancies.
• Support quarter‑end and year‑end close, and assist with the annual audit.
• Participate in ad‑hoc reporting, projects and process‑automation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience with GL ownership and reconciliations.
• CPA or similar designation preferred (at least 1 year post‑qualified).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent Excel skills and willingness to learn new systems (NetSuite preferred).
