Junior Customer Services Representative

About the role

Join Emerson’s Costa Rica office as a Junior Customer Services Representative. You will deliver high‑quality support to US customers through email and phone, handling order changes, cancellations, document requests, and pricing inquiries while ensuring timely and accurate information.

Key responsibilities

• Provide flawless customer service via email and phone interactions.
• Assist customers with order modifications, cancellations, expedites, and document requests.
• Supply price, availability, and delivery information.
• Handle basic shipping issues such as shortages or overages through research and analysis.
• Answer inbound emails and calls from channel distribution, demonstrating world‑class service.
• Support inside sales by providing pricing and availability details.
• Address general product inquiries using system data.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Strong internal relationship building and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work under pressure.
• High sense of urgency, strong comprehension, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Salesforce (preferred).
• Familiarity with Oracle (preferred).
