Junior Buyer – Indirect Procurement Operations

About the role

Huntsman is looking for a Junior Buyer to support its Indirect Procurement Operations within the GBS Division in Costa Rica. The role will work closely with the Indirect Procurement Team Lead and act as the daily operational link between purchasing, manufacturing sites and administrative departments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor procurement systems, review integration points and resolve system errors.
• Create and process purchase orders and handle invoice disputes in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain purchasing data including pricing, supplier information, order profiles and purchase orders.
• Provide status updates on purchased goods and services to internal stakeholders.
• Identify and propose process improvements, automation opportunities and efficiency gains.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health and safety standards and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• B2 level English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
