Human Resources Leader

About the role

The Human Resources Leader will act as the primary HR partner for a Solesis site in Costa Rica, working closely with site leadership to align people strategies with business objectives and ensure a compliant, engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR business partner, providing coaching, advice, and execution of people strategies that support operational and corporate goals.
• Participate in site leadership meetings and act as a consultant on organizational redesign, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with Costa Rican labor laws, covering contracts, benefits, working hours, health and safety, and employee rights.
• Address employee relations issues, conduct internal investigations, and guide managers through disciplinary processes, seeking legal counsel when needed.
• Implement talent development, succession planning, and individual development plans using Solesis talent tools.
• Develop and drive employee engagement programs in partnership with Operations leadership.
• Administer performance management, merit increase programs, and payroll processing in line with local regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or site HR leader, preferably in a manufacturing or MedTech environment.
• Deep knowledge of Costa Rican labor legislation and HR compliance.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders, manage change, and foster a positive employee relations climate.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
