HR Field Generalist – Associate

About the role

Genpact is seeking an Associate Human Resources Generalist to provide operational and employee‑facing HR support across multiple disciplines. The role works independently to apply established policies, resolve employee inquiries, and ensure a positive employee experience in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day HR support in benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, organizational development, and HR operations.
• Manage assigned HR activities, align priorities with leadership, and ensure timely execution.
• Serve as a resource for team members by providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and training on HR processes and policies.
• Respond to employee and business inquiries, analyze HR issues, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions within guidelines.
• Support operational effectiveness by making informed decisions that meet business objectives and performance goals.
• Handle employee lifecycle activities, onboarding, workforce administration, and ongoing employee support.
• Assist recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, coordinating hiring activities and partnering with stakeholders.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain HR metrics and reports.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and local labor legislation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with business leaders and employees.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
