HR Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join Envista, a global leader in the dental industry. The role will support business leaders in aligning people strategies with corporate objectives, ensuring a high‑performing workforce across our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to translate business goals into workforce planning, talent management and capability development.
• Coach managers on performance management, leadership effectiveness and employee engagement.
• Identify talent gaps and work with Learning & Development to design onboarding, manager training and career development programs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on workforce plans, candidate selection, offers and onboarding.
• Support Total Rewards in compensation processes and advise on pay‑for‑performance, market competitiveness and equity.
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions and terminations.
• Provide guidance on Costa Rica labor law, contracts, working time, leave, disciplinary processes and regulatory updates.
• Analyze HR metrics (headcount, attrition, engagement, performance, diversity) to recommend actions and measure impact.
• Assist with organizational change initiatives and continuous improvement of HR programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rica labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to influence leaders, drive performance and manage complex employee‑relations issues.
