Helpdesk Support Specialist

About the role

TransPerfect is looking for an energetic Helpdesk Support Specialist to join its on‑site team. You will provide daily technical assistance to employees, handling hardware, software and network issues while contributing to a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve Helpdesk tickets and deliver on‑site support throughout the workday.
• Troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Diagnose hardware, software and network problems; escalate complex cases to specialized teams.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows and macOS workstations.
• Maintain inventory records for all computing equipment.
• Create and update knowledge‑base documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma minimum; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on IT support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
• Microsoft Office 365/2021/2013, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Collaboration tools: Zoom, Duo, Slack, Microsoft Teams.
• Tier 1 network support: TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, DHCP, DNS, cabling.
• Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Basic mobile‑device support and virus/malware removal.
• VOIP support (preferred).
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (a plus).
