Group Manager – Services Customer Operations Manager

About the role

Microsoft is seeking a Group Manager to lead its Services Customer Operations team. This senior people‑manager role will partner with field sellers, end customers, and internal stakeholders to design and execute deal‑management services across the customer lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, quality, compliance, and an exceptional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team that supports Microsoft Services customers and sellers.
• Collaborate with field sellers, end customers, and internal groups such as Operations Deal Managers, vendor support teams, Deal Desk, and deal approvers.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve deal‑management processes across the customer lifecycle.
• Drive process efficiency, timeliness, quality, and compliance while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Lead cross‑organizational initiatives and transformation projects across a global footprint.
• Act with empathy and foster a culture of inclusion, talent development, and high performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large, high‑performing teams within an operations or services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working with field sellers, customers, and multiple internal partners.
• Demonstrated ability to drive transformation, process improvement, and operational excellence.
