Global Payroll & HR Operations Manager

About the role

Establishment Labs is seeking a Global Payroll & HR Operations Manager to lead end‑to‑end payroll delivery for roughly 1,100 employees across 12 countries. The role ensures payroll accuracy, compliance and timeliness while supporting the rollout of a centralized HR Services model.

Key responsibilities

• Own and coordinate global payroll operations, validating inputs, outputs and reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, HRBPs, IT) and external payroll vendors to align timelines and resolve issues.
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for payroll delivery and support shared‑services implementation.
• Standardise processes, manage transition activities and ensure operational readiness across regions.
• Monitor payroll compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements, partnering with Legal, Finance and vendors to mitigate risk.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers, track service delivery against SLAs and lead regular operational reviews.
• Lead, coach and develop the payroll and HR operations team, fostering a high‑performing, service‑oriented culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in payroll and HR operations, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience managing payroll vendors and cross‑functional stakeholder teams.

Required skills

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Intermediate Portuguese (desired).
• Relevant payroll, HR or Lean/Six Sigma certifications (desired).
