Generalist Process Operator I

About the role

The Generalist Process Operator I will work on a Cargill production facility, operating mechanical equipment, performing routine maintenance and supporting the production of high‑quality food products. The role rotates across different work areas to ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment such as mixers, packaging lines, and computerized control systems.
• Load and unload bulk materials, handle terminal operations and perform basic machine adjustments.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues in collaboration with the maintenance team.
• Record production and inventory data in computerized systems.
• Operate mobile powered equipment including forklifts, skid loaders, sit‑down floor sweepers and front‑end loaders.
• Follow all safety policies, maintain a clean work environment and support a steady production flow.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and follow established procedures.
• Ability to learn operating procedures quickly and provide feedback on documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for routine equipment adjustments and maintenance.
