Forklift Operator (Montacargista)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in the Ulloa District and focuses on safely operating forklifts and related material‑handling equipment within a warehouse and yard environment. The role supports the logistics, warehouse, and production teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stack goods.
• Verify shipment contents and organize inventory according to company procedures.
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Ability to safely operate forklifts with a valid certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or industrial settings.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to company policies.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills for interpreting labels and work orders.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow structured procedures.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
