Financial Data & Analytics Analyst (Cost Focus)

About the role

The Financial Data & Analytics Analyst (Cost Focus) supports Cargill’s cost accounting and profitability reporting across the region. You will work closely with business units and plants to ensure accurate cost data, compliance with internal standards, and effective use of SAP cost modules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support SAP Costing and COPA modules, executing cost routines and allocations.
• Ensure cost accounting accuracy and compliance with MEC requirements.
• Extract, consolidate, and validate data from multiple systems, including SQL databases.
• Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Assist with foreign‑exchange risk management for selected units.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, monitor compliance with accounting, statutory, and tax regulations, and document controls.
• Provide SAP, data analysis, and reporting support to internal business partners.
• Identify and implement process‑execution improvements.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or cost accounting, preferably within a large, multinational environment.
• Experience working with SAP cost modules (Costing, COPA) and SQL data extraction.
• Ability to collaborate with global and regional teams and communicate findings in English.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and data integrity.
