Facilities Manager – Lead Operations & Safety

About the role

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations for CooperSurgical’s manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse and office sites. This role ensures a safe, compliant and efficient environment that supports the company’s mission to improve women’s health.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Facilities and Maintenance team, including performance management, development and staffing.
• Maintain and operate building systems such as boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, pumps and electrical equipment in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime.
• Manage facility budgets, cost control, forecasting and capital planning.
• Oversee vendor and contractor performance, service agreements and procurement activities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for facility‑related issues and customer service requests.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Lead global standardization of facilities and EHS policies, procedures and best practices.
• Provide strategic direction for health and safety programs, hazard identification and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading facilities operations in a regulated, manufacturing or medical environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities and critical infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets, capital projects and vendor relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership in safety culture and compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
