Facilities Manager

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the facilities and building technical services groups at a manufacturing site. The role provides strategic leadership to minimise operational costs, improve reliability and support the company’s mission of enhancing patient mobility worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction for all facilities management activities.
• Oversee facility planning, design, layout, and maintenance of offices, production spaces and utilities.
• Schedule and coordinate building and grounds maintenance to support site operations.
• Develop and manage capital and expense budgets, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare long‑range facilities projections and capital plans aligned with growth strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, safety and quality standards.
• Direct and approve designs, specifications and construction of renovations and additions.
• Maintain the upkeep and beautification of facilities, grounds and parking areas.
• Implement and monitor preventative maintenance processes.
• Participate in relevant audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Bilingual with strong reading ability in both languages.
• Proven experience leading facilities or building technical services teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive cost‑efficiency.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety requirements.
