Senior Electrical BIM Engineer

About the role

Eracore is seeking a Senior Electrical BIM Engineer to lead hands‑on VDC and electrical BIM production for large U.S. construction projects. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering high‑quality models, coordination, shop drawings, and prefabrication deliverables while ensuring compliance with design intent, NEC codes, and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Model, coordinate, and produce shop drawings and prefabrication deliverables using Revit and related VDC tools.
• Validate that all work aligns with design intent, NEC codes, and client specifications.
• Own assigned tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Identify and resolve clashes, support the creation of coordination‑ready drawings.
• Manage project schedules, internal deadlines, and task prioritisation.
• Participate in client coordination meetings to align technical requirements.
• Support RFIs and technical clarifications as needed.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to junior and mid‑level engineers.
• Maintain proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Evolve, and other VDC tools.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Electrical BIM.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and NEC codes.
• Advanced Revit skills with an electrical focus.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM 360, ACC, and Bluebeam.
• Team‑oriented mindset with mentoring experience.
• Reliable, organised, and deadline‑focused.
• Intermediate spoken and written English.
