Entry-Level Accounting Assistant

Join a global leader in adhesives as an Accounting Assistant I, an entry‑level position that supports the maintenance of financial records and routine accounting activities. You will work under experienced team members, gaining foundational knowledge of accounting processes while ensuring data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine accounting tasks such as calculating, posting, and verifying financial transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable, payroll, travel and expense processing, and costing activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and other management reports.
• Review and reconcile financial information to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Organize and maintain accounting documentation and records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet departmental reporting goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to perform data entry.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following guidance from supervisors.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
