Senior Indirect Tax Analyst

About the role

The Senior Indirect Tax Analyst works within a Shared Services model, ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of indirect tax processes across multiple markets while supporting KPI achievement and delivering compliant services. The role contributes to transforming the service delivery model through simplification, standardization and process improvement in a regional Business Service Centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and support the preparation of indirect tax returns (VAT, WHT and local obligations) across LATAM markets
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with local tax regulations and internal policies
• Perform statutory accounting analysis and monitor balance sheet reconciliations for tax purposes
• Identify discrepancies and safeguard the quality and integrity of tax data
• Monitor deadlines, KPIs and execution plans to support tax deliverables, and review planning for monthly and annual returns
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders and manage escalations on tax, finance and statutory reporting matters
• Drive continuous improvement, including process standardization, simplification and automation
• Extract, analyze and validate financial data from ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in indirect tax, accounting or finance in a corporate or Shared Services environment
• Strong knowledge of VAT, WHT and local compliance obligations across LATAM markets
• B1+/B2 English, written and spoken

• Advanced Excel and data analysis; experience with large datasets
• Accounting processes, including financial statement analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Nice to have: ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), Alteryx and AI-based tools
