Employee Relations & Retention Generalist

About the role

The Employee Relations & Retention Generalist will ensure strict compliance with labor legislation while designing proactive talent retention strategies. This role supports a stable organizational climate that meets the quality and productivity standards of a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee disciplinary processes (warnings, suspensions, terminations) ensuring due process and alignment with the Labor Code.
• Provide advisory support to production supervisors on internal policies and labor law interpretation.
• Manage labor mediations and represent the company during labor inspections or judicial proceedings when required.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of personnel departures, focusing on the first three months of probation.
• Administer climate surveys, develop action plans, and measure improvements in employee satisfaction.
• Execute and analyze exit interviews to identify risk trends and opportunities for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law (Labor Law emphasis), Business Administration, or a related field; specialization in Labor Legislation is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing, preferably in medical device or Free Trade Zone settings.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1) for corporate reporting.
